British tuning company BBR engineers presented a package of performance Super 200+, increasing an output of 2.0-liter 4-cylinder naturally aspirated engine under the hood of Mazda MX-5 Miata to 214 hp (159.6 kW) and 248 Nm of torque. For comparison, the British version of the roadster is equipped with a motor developing 155 hp (115.6 kW). Acceleration 0-96 km / h in this case were reduced from 7.3 seconds to 5.65 seconds.

Japanese brand Mazda launched the production of the new MX-5 RF roadster with hardtop. The price of the car will start with a mark of 31550 US dollars. In January 2017 the new roadster Mazda MX-5 RF will appear at the automotive markets in Europe, USA and Canada, in Japan the car will be available for sale already in 2016.
