Mazda6 and CX-5 at the Geneva Motor Show

More advanced security technology, a wider choice of powertrains and new, more refined interior all of this – 2015 Mazda6 and the 2015 Mazda CX-5, which will debut at the Geneva Motor Show. First introduced at the Auto Show in Los Angeles, significantly tightened models are equipped with adaptive lighting technology. Lights consisting of four units capable of individually deactivated to prevent blinding oncoming drivers.

As for powertrains, 2015 Mazda6 wagon is available with a diesel engine SKYACTIV-D 2.2-wheel drive system and a new generation. A bunch of used on the CX-5, it is equipped with detection system front wheels slip and runs a specially developed oil with low viscosity for better fuel economy.

There are new security system in Mazda CX-5 and Mazda6. Blind Spot Monitoring (BSM) extends the range of the existing system Rear Vehicle Monitoring (RVM). Rear Cross Traffic Alert (RCTA) warns the driver of approaching vehicles when reversing. Lane-keep Assist System (LAS) prevents accidental changing lanes, thereby complementing the system of Lane Departure Warning System (LDWS). First for Mazda, Driver Attention Alerts (DAA) – monitors the status of the driver and recommends a break if it detects a change in behavior. Smart City Brake Support Forward / Reverse (SCBS F / R) – extends the functionality of the existing system SCBS, which automatically applies the brakes now and for the reverse, if there is an increased risk of collision. CX-5 also gets Smart Brake Support (SBS) and Mazda Radar Cruise Control (MRCC).
