Mazda told about the novelties of Geneva Motor Show 2017

Mazda Motor Corporation plans to introduce to the public its new crossovers Mazda CX-5 and CX-3, as well as the updated hatchback Mazda2 at the Geneva Motor Show in 2017. For all the vehicles it will be European debut.

The new North American SUV Mazda CX-5 was officially unveiled last fall at the motor show in Los Angeles. Car of SUV popular segment got a new look and revised interior, and became quieter and more practical – the model has received improved sound insulation and its trunk space was increased. Most likely, European version of the new model will not get any radical changes. Perhaps the manufacturer will readjust suspension. Current version of the Mazda CX-5 is available with a 2.0-liter gasoline engine SkyActiv-G generating 160 and 165 hp and 2.2 liters diesel motor providing 150 and 175 hp. Power units can be paired with 6-speed manual or automatic transmission.

Updated hatchback Mazda2 (in Japan the car is sold as Demio) and crossover Mazda CX-3 has also been officially presented in 2016, but only for the Japanese market. Appearance of the cars was not changed, only the color palette was expanded. The vehicles got new instrument panel (digital), updated projection display and steering wheel. Machine is equipped with the torque vectoring system G-Vectoring Control and many other options.
