British tuners developed 214-strong Mazda MX-5 Miata

British tuning company BBR engineers presented a package of performance Super 200+, increasing an output of 2.0-liter 4-cylinder naturally aspirated engine under the hood of Mazda MX-5 Miata to 214 hp (159.6 kW) and 248 Nm of torque. For comparison, the British version of the roadster is equipped with a motor developing 155 hp (115.6 kW). Acceleration 0-96 km / h in this case were reduced from 7.3 seconds to 5.65 seconds.

Standard package Super 200 at the cost of £ 2795 includes an optimized electronic engine control unit, a cold air supply system, the upgraded intake and exhaust valves, and a stainless steel exhaust system. The index “+” will have additionally the 2.5-inch exhaust system with appropriate mufflers at the price of £ 890.
