Mazda released the roadster MX-5 25th Anniversary Edition

In honor of the 25th anniversary of the release of the roadster Mazda MX-5 Japanese automaker has created a special version of the model called the 25th Anniversary Edition. The world premiere of the car, which will be released in limited edition, will be held at the Auto Show in New York, has opened to the media. Hallmarks of a special commemorative version besides exterior styling along with the interior would be power train, parts of which were manually selected from the general party.

Mazda MX-5 in the current year will celebrate 25 years on the assembly line. Premiere of the first-generation roadster (pictured) was held in winter 1989 at the motor show in Chicago. However, “Birthday” model automaker decided to celebrate a little later, namely at the auto show in New York in mid-April. Most likely, this is due to the planned debut of the new generation MX-5.

Mazda company introduced a new service from Mazda – the new Mazda Museum in Hiroshima – the unique place that offers a virtual tour of the main exposition of the exhibition with the help of Google Maps Street View. Visitors to the museum will be able to feel the spirit of Mazda, and learn about the heritage and technological achievements of the company.

Mazda Showed the Spring Edition of the Models

The new package, dedicated to the coming of spring, is already on sale in Europe and was presented on the motor show in Geneva. Past year was a busy one for the company, that launched the new updated crossover CX-5 and tried to please the audience with the beautiful sedan Mazda6. To continue the momentum, the Japanese decided to embellish the other models by giving them an optional package called the Spring 2013 Special Edition. The cars that received these bonus were Mazda2, Mazda3, Mazda5 and Mazda MX-5. The package includes a number of stylistic changes and a set of internal equipment at an attractive (according to the assurances of the company) price.

Mazda and Fiat Roadster

Mazda and Fiat Group have signed a definitive agreement that the Japanese automaker will share a platform of MX-5 of the next generation with the new roadster Alfa Romeo. In addition, the production of both models will be set up at the “Mazda” in Hiroshima. Start of the roadster production is planned for 2015.

Japanese Mazda and Italian Fiat are set to sign a definitive agreement to work together, in which the Land of the Rising Sun will become a site for an organized production of the car brand Alfa Romeo. The creation of “Italians” will begin in 2015 at the the Mazda factory. Moreover it became known that both of these car manufacturers expect to develop new roadster based on the MX-5.
